The Aloni Villas are located in the traditional village of Roussospiti.
The first inhabitants of Roussospiti were recorded in 1583 and the total number was 157.

The settlement of Roussospiti is located on the slope of Vrisinas and most people call it ΄΄the balcony of Rethimno΄΄,because of its great view.
It is located  6km from the city of Rethimno and Roussospiti is at an altitude of 300m.

In this settlement with the magnificent view to the Cretan sea there are many Venetian houses,a 17th century fountain and the church of Eisodon Theotokos,where there are several frescos.
